Quote and suggestions for a wedding reception. The menu and other arrangements can easily be altered to order. Exchange rate at this date is approximately Rp8,000 per AUD$ or Rp9,250 per US$
1/ FOOD - Buffet of Crab Corn Soup, Fried Chicken, Pork & Chicken Satay, Pork Spare Ribs, Fish'n'Chips, Fried Calamari Rings, Shrimp in Garlic Butter, Chap Chay (Stir-fried Vegetables), Fried Rice, Steamed Rice. The cost per person for this menu is Rp.130,0000. If, for example, the shrimps are changed to prawns, then the cost per person rises to Rp175,000 - prawns are far more expensive than shrimps. For vegetarians, dishes such as gado gado, fresh garden salads including bean sprouts, lumpia (spring rolls) and tahu (Indonesian tofu) in various forms such as tempe (dry fried).
2/ DRINKS - Drinks are charged at menu price; that is the best method as you pay only for drinks you consume. Menu price is large bottle Bintang beer Rp.21,000 and House Wine Rp.150,000 / litre. Popular cocktails like Long Island Tea or Harvey Wallbanger by the JUG (1.2 litre) are Rp. 80,000 - these are ideal for pre-dinner drinks. Bali 's own Hatten Tunjung Sparkling wine at Rp.180,000 per bottle is perfect to toast the happy couple. These are current prices & will rise with natural inflation.
3/ SERVICE CHARGE of only 5% will be added to the total bill of food & drink. Please note that most restaurants charge 10%.
4/ SET UP - of course a special table for the bridal party, and other tables for the guests will be arranged to your wishes. Balinese decoration of temple umbrellas & bamboo/banana-palm foliage archway for the bridal table at a cost of Rp.500,000. These arrangements take some time to prepare; we need to meet your representative TWO DAYS before the reception to finalize the plans when a non-refundable deposit of Rp. 1,500,000 is due.
